Rajesh Khanna (born December 29, 1942 - died: 18 July 2012) was an Indian Bollywood actor, director and producer.

He made many Hindi films and entered politics as well. He was the Congress Party MP from the New Delhi Lok Sabha seat for five years from 1991 to 1996. He later retired from politics.

He has acted in 180 films and 163 feature films, played a leading role in 128 films, and in 22 other than double role, he also worked in 17 short films.And in three years 1969-71, acting in 15 solo hits began to be called Bollywood superstar.He received the Filmfare Award three times for best performance in the films and was nominated for 14 times.

Best Film Actor Award for Hindi Film by the Bengal Film Journalists Association also remained his name for maximum four times and was nominated 25 times.He was awarded the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award in 2005. Rajesh Khanna was the first superstar of Hindi cinema.


In 1966, he started his acting career with the last film Khat. The secret, the dreams of the Bahars, the last letter - they consisted of three consecutive successful films, and the dreams of the Bahars were completely unsuccessful.

He made 74 Golden Jubilee films in 1966-1991. (golden jubilee hits). He did 22 silver jubilee films in 1966-1991. He filmed 9 general-interest films in 1966-1996. He did 163 films in 1966-2013 and had 105 hits.

Personal life:


On December 29, 1942, a child born as Jatin Arora  was nurtured by Lilavati Chunnilal Khanna.

Jatin's parents came to Pakistan after partition and settled in Amritsar. Khanna couple adopted and taught this child who was a relative of Jatin's real parents.

Jatin then enrolled at St. Sebastian High School in Girgaon, Bombay. His classmate was Ravi Kapoor, who later became famous in the film industry as Jitendra.

Along with school education, Jatin was also interested in acting plays, so he naturally became oriented towards the theater.

He also played some plays while in school.Not only that, he also won many awards in the Drama Competition during college.He also went to his sports car at the time to find work for theater and films Were.

It is a nineteenth century.Both friends later got together in the K.C. College, Bombay, in the same college. Jatin was given the name Rajesh Khanna by his uncle, and later he also adopted the same name in the films.

It is also a fact that Rajesh taught only to speak to the camera in order to give Jitendra his first film audition. Jitendra and his wife Rajesh Khanna were called as "Kaka"
In 1966, Rajesh Khanna worked for the first time in the film "Aakhiri Khat" at the age of 23.

After this, the success of the Secrets, Bahar's Dreams, the Last Khat - his three successive films.

Then the dreams of Bahars completely failed, but they got real success in 1969, which was their first Platinum Jubilee superhit film. After the worship, the Hindi superhero title of the Hindi film was named after him.


He did not look back and gave 15 solo superhit films - Aradhana, Ittefaq, Two Paths, Bandhan, Doli, Safar, Silence, Kati Kite, Aan Milo Sajna, Tran, Joy, True False, Enemy, Mehboob's Rosemary, Elephants partner. Multi-styled films 1969-72, the premise remained a super hit.

 

Bad health in the last days:
n June 2012, it was reported that Rajesh Khanna has been quite unwell for the past few days. On June 23, 2012 he was taken to Lilavati Hospital for treatment of critical critical diseases.

Where he got treatment in the intensive care room and he was discharged from there on 8th July 2012. Such a report was given at that time, "They are completely healthy".

On July 14, 2012, he was admitted to Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai.

His wife Dimple told the media that he has low blood pressure and he is feeling very weak Finally, on July 18, 2012, the news was broadcast that superstar Rajesh Khanna was not there.
