The zika virus is a mosquito-borne flavivire, which was identified in monkeys through a network in Uganda in 1947, which monitors yellow fever. Later it was identified in humans in Uganda and the United Republic of Tanzania in 1952. The outbreak of zika virus disease has been recorded in Africa, America, Asia and Pacific region. From the 1960s to the 1980s, human infections were found in Africa and Asia, usually with mild illness. Due to zika infection, the first major outbreak of the disease was described in 2007 in the island of Yap (the federal states of Micronesia). In July 2015, Brazil reported a collaboration between Zika Virus infection and Guillen-Barr syndrome. In October 2015, Brazil reported a collaboration between Zika Virus infections and Microsefli. People with Zika virus can have symptoms including mild fever, skin disorders, conjunctivitis, muscular and joint pain, illness or headache. These symptoms usually last for 2-7 days.

A powerful immune response mount proteins for Zika virus, and pregnant women can help in fighting infection, damage the development of the placenta and the embryo, has been found in a study. The researchers had previously established that these antiviral proteins, called Type I interferon, had to fight against zika infection in their mothers. However, it was not clear what role interferon played role in providing an immune defense for the embryo. To investigate, researchers from Yale University in the US studied two different types of mouse models. In one type the receptor was completely defective for type 1 interferon, and in the second only one copy of the interferon receptor genes.

Only after the development of abnormal stool, symptoms of limb development and limiting death, the researchers said. The findings published in the Science Immunology Journal show that the harmful effects of the immune response to viruses may be higher than the benefits for the embryos. Researchers found that although type 1 is important for blocking the replication of the interferon virus, but it can be very harmful during pregnancy. The results of the study may have other complications related to infection and other effects for possible intervention.
