Padmaavat Movie Reviews: The Movie explains the bravery of Rajputs

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s recent films - the towel-wrapped Ranbir Kapoor in Saawariya; the glisteningly-oiled Ranveer Singh in Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ramleela or Singh’s rippling muscles as he bathes in Bajirao Mastani in bollywood.

The 1 scene in Padmaavat (Padmavati) that made a modicum of impression on me was of Delhi Sultanate ruler Alauddin Khilji (Ranveer Singh) in the bath tub with his ghulam (slave) Malik Kafur (Jim Sarbh). Bhansali plays on their male bonding, giving it a homoerotic touch. Bhansali ends up using it as a mere tool to underline all that's wrong with Alauddin Khilji (Ranveer Singh); his beastliness, dissolution and debauchery.

Cast: Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Jim Sarbh

Director: Sanjay Leela Bhansali

Rating: 3.5 Stars (Out of 5)

Rani Padmavati (Deepika Padukone) - the wife of Maharawal Ratan Singh (Shahid Kapoor), is known for her beauty and valour in 13th century India.

Shahid kapoor is steadfast and unflappable as Maharawal Ratan Singh - the ruler of Mewar, brimming with Rajput pride.

'Padmavat' is a film of Sanjay Leela Bhansali whose topic has been dispute for a long time. But between the huge controversy, the film was successful in reaching cinemas. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor will be seen playing the main characters. If you talk about the film then after seeing it, it does not seem like that the director needs to show any kind of green flag from any society and organization. The reason for this is that anywhere in the film, Rajputs have not tried to hurt honor. Rather, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has carved 'Aaan, Ban and Shaan' of Rajputs on the screen in the film.

The film shows very strong dialogues, great scenery and passion. After watching the movie you will feel yourself lost. Deepika looks very beautiful in the form of Rani Padmavati. She has made the character of the queen alive with his strong acting and expression. Seeing them in this movie, it seems that the director wondered how to put such a beautiful queen in a maze. Deepika has done the best to the role of Queen's character.

The film will be able to bind the audience from beginning to end. After watching the acting of songs, locations, sets and characters from Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmavat', perhaps people can change their thinking towards the film.

Directed by Sanjay Lali Bhansali, the film 'Padmavat' is being released on 25th of January despite protests, but now it will be seen on less screen than ever before. Multiplex owners in four states (Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Goa) have refused to show the film. The first film was planned to be screened on 8000 screens, but after the dispute, the film had received about 4500 screens for the release, but now it has gone further after the denial of the four states. The film was supposed to be released in December last year, but the film could not be released at that time after strongly opposing the Rajput organizations and the Karani sena, expressing objection to the film's theme.
